On this barge their affiliated fighters would fight it out in a battle royale for the remaining five places in the official tournament. The remaining 123 corporations were made to board a rusty old barge, the S.S. These members would board a luxurious cruise ship, the S.S. To quickly trim down the competition, Chairman Katahara sent out 28 special invitations to the highest-ranking corporations of the entering Kengan Association members, including himself, whose fighters have the best combat records. Initially, 151 corporations entered into the tournament ready to fight for the chairman's seat. This means that companies could use their subsidiaries as extra entries. However, subsidiary companies count as different businesses from their parent company, and are thus allowed entries of their own, even if their parent company is already competing. Furthermore, each company may submit only a single fighter. Īny member of the Kengan Association was allowed to enter the tournament, however, there was a ¥5 billion entry fee to ward off any old rabble from getting in. However, if the CEO who sponsored the tournament does not become chairman, then they would undergo liquidation and lose their company as a result.

The winner is of course free to choose themself. The CEO whose fighter wins the tournament would not become the chairman instead, the winning CEO would decide who in the Kengan Association becomes the next chairman. This Kengan Annihilation Tournament was created by Katahara Metsudo in order to determine who would take the seat of chairman of the Kengan Association.

The following contents of this article detail the most recent Kengan Annihilation Tournament that occurred in Kengan Ashura. I've lost too many games because of weirdness, screwups, and outdated processes related to that thing.A Kengan Annihilation Tournament (拳願絶命トーナメント, Ken-gan Zetsumei Tōnamento) is an influential tournament that is held to decide who will become the new chairman of the Kengan Association.

Sorry for the rant but e-license is a peeve of mine. They just enjoy those games more than the new stuff.

There are still a lot of people who play the 'Extreme Wrestling' games, which are about 15 years old and were the precursor to the TEW series that's now out. It's not just one or two people who believe that way about the new releases. I'd load up WMMA2 to check that theory, but of course I'm not able to play that anymore either. I don't know what 5 is like, but personally I wouldn't trade my copy of WMMA3 in for a copy of 4, and as a former owner of WMMA2 (that's the one with the belts as ratings, right?), I'm not convinced that WMMA2 isn't better than both of them. I've never seen any new release from them which is so much better than the previous version as to be worth AAA money. with GDS games newer often doesn't mean better. I imagine pirates must eat e-license protection for breakfast at this point anyway, so what is it protecting? There's no reason why any developer should be inflicting that 1990's-era copy protection on us anymore. If that's never going to happen, I'll just spend my money on other games. For me, a GDS title needs to be on Steam, and it needs to be on sale before I'll touch it. When I lost WMMA4, then got a snotty reply about it when I wrote something on the site, I decided I was never going to buy another title off the GDS site again.

Over the years I must have bought 6 or 7 games directly from GDS's website, and I can no longer play any of them because like most computer users, I've switched e-mails a couple of times and changed PCs.
